There are a great many things to do for those keen to explore. Being situated so close to the sea, you can go Fishing, Surfing, Swimming, Sailing, Kayaking or just explore the coastline. There are Tennis Courts nearby and Bicycle Hire.
For those keen on Walking, there are some great walks from the Apartment and Calle Fuga. The walk along the river bank and the Polo Fields early morning can be very rewarding. There also many walks in the hills and mountains.
You can explore Gibraltar for a day and climb to the top of the rock.
A great day out is to visit Tarifa and go Whale Watching (see useful links). There are often 3 Dolphin Species, Pilot Whales and if you are lucky Sperm, Humpback or Orcas.
There are many Golf Courses in and around Sotogrande, including the famous Valderama course, the Royal Sotogrande and nearby San Roque and Alcaideisa links course.
There are Horse riding stables at Club Hispanica in Sotogrande.
Alternatively you can explore the beautiful and historic villages at Casaraes, Gaucin, Castella de Frontera and Jimena. Further a field you can visit Ronda and even Granada with the snow capped backdrop of Sierra Nevada.
If you want a day out shopping and some nightlife, the Peurto Banus is 30 minutes drive, and has many shops and restaurants and interesting sights!
